Our company chose 1 out of 25 proven bicycle manufacturers at the Chinese market and placed the order in Guangzhou. The monitoring process consisted of 3 stages:
- Sizes and design monitoring;
- Components purchase from Japanese and Taiwan factories monitoring;
- Painting and packaging monitoring.
The client placed the order in March and received the goods in June. He saved more than $65,000 on purchase and logistics.
The Chinese shipped the goods in cardboard boxes. During the water transportation, as the temperature of the ocean was changing, there was condensation in the containers and the boxes got soaked. We provided compensation for damage in the amount of $25 000, but, as the maritime freight was insured, we were paid the money back by the insurance company in 6 months.
